Scarlett Johansson has been named the highest-grossing actress in Hollywood not just for this year - but she is now also the top grossing female actor of all time.
Johansson's movies have already taken in $3.3 billion in the United States box office this year, which earned her the 10th spot in the highest earning actor list compiled by Box Office Mojo.
The 31-year-old Avengers star is the highest placed actress on the list, and the youngest star in the top 10. This placing also makes Johansson the highest-grossing actress of all time.
Interesting the top nine positions on the list were all bagged by men including Harrison Ford, Samuel L. Jackson, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hanks, Robert Downey Jr., Eddie Murphy, Tom Cruise, Michael Caine and Johnny Depp.
The next actress on the list is Cameron Diaz, who earned the 19th spot. Helena Bonham Carter, Cate Blanchett, Julia Roberts, Elizabeth Banks, Emma Watson and Anne Hathaway are the only other actress in the top 50.
Speaking to Cosmopolitan magazine in May, Johansson spoke out against the pay gap in Hollywood.
"There's something icky about me having that conversation unless it applies to a greater whole. I am very fortunate, I make a really good living, and I'm proud to be an actress who's making as much as many of my male peers at this stage," she said.
"I think every woman has [been underpaid]. But unless I'm addressing it as a larger problem, for me to talk about my own personal experience with it feels a little obnoxious. It's part of a larger conversation about feminism in general."
