In what is a very Aphex Twin move, a 12-year-old boy from North Co Dublin has directed a video for Aphex Twin's forthcoming Cheetah EP.
Ryan Wyer from Rush made the surreal eight-minute clip of himself, his brothers and sisters and friends dancing about on a suburban street and wearing Aphex Twin masks and T-shirts in their bedrooms.
The new song is entitled CIRKLON3 and it features on the Cheetah EP, which will be released on July 8.
It's the first official video from Aphex Twin, aka Limerick man Richard James, since the landmark and pretty disturbing promo for Windowlicker 17 years ago.
The EP claims to feature “digital sound generation techniques combined with wave sequencing technology to bring you sounds with movement and depth rarely found on records today.” How very Aphex Twin.
