Justin Bieber was floored after a fist fight in a hotel - but boxing champ Floyd Mayweather offered the Canadian singer 'respect' after seeing a clip of the brawl.
The 5ft 9 singer was filmed as he squared up to a much (MUCH!) larger man outside a hotel in Cleveland, Ohio on Wednesday.
The spat started off like the proverbial handbags at dawn but then turned into a full-blown brawl as both men started trading punches and grappling with each other.
A woman is seen moving out of the way as the fight spills towards the doors of the hotel. The unidentified man then grabs Bieber, and throws him to the floor.
Several bystanders tried to end the brawl, which happened after Bieber was spotted watching the NBA finals as the Cleveland Cavaliers took on the Golden State Warriors.
The singer was later seen being restrained by minders. A video of the spat was posted to Snapchat with the caption: "Justin Bieber getting his ass kicked!"
Attempting to save face, Justin posted a selfie on Instagram along with the caption: "Not a scratch on this pretty boy!"
He's since deleted the post - possibly after the less than complimentary comments on his profile - though he did post a very similar follow-up pic showing off his tattoos along with the caption 'No hesitation'.
Following Bieb's Instagram defiance, a man called Lamont Richmond has come forward to claim he's the one who fought with the singer.
Hours after the video came to light, towering 6'5" Richmond posted a video claiming he was just trying to get an autograph. Bieber recently revealed he will no longer be taking selfies with fans as it made him feel like a "zoo animal" so that may account for his tetchiness.
However, all is not lost as former boxing champ and Bieber pal Floyd Mayweather came out in the singer's defence, saying: "I don’t know why he’s fighting but he’s ready.
"At the end of the day, people will say what they want to say. Justin Bieber ain't no bitch. He showed he got heart. He showed he ain't no bitch, so it’s all respect."
