Geordie Shore's Charlotte Crosby has said she is embarrassed by her public row with cast-mate and on/off boyfriend Gary Beadle but vows to stick by her decision to exit the show.

The 26-year-old reality TV star announced her departure from the popular MTV show earlier today, saying she is willing to sacrifice her career to be away from Beadle, whom she accused of being a "liar and a cheat".

The Twitter spat comes after Charlotte revealed she was hospitalised over an ectopic pregnancy, which Gary felt should not have been made public.

Crosby has now taken to social media once again to say that she is shouldn't have let her temper get the better of her and insisted she won't be unleashing any rants about her personal life online anytime soon.

Charlotte made her surprise exit announcement this morning, soon after Gary Beadle published his side of the dramatic ectopic pregnancy story.

Taking to Twitter, Crosby wrote: "Sadly because a certain some1 can't admit to being in the wrong and have to write a short story full of excuses. I have made the very hard decision to Leave the show, it's something I have went back and forth with for a while now.

"Am also really excited to see the show you went off to film before that with your grandad, the one you spoke to me every day on, and f**ked some1 else on! While I was sat waiting for you! You may have fooled every else with your victim act!" (sic).

Gary didn't say silent on the matter for long with the Ex on the Beach star also  sharing his side of the story on Twitter.

"You had your say I had mine.... Just leave it.... Or this will never end... Don't get angry if you don't like what I had to say my victim act are you f**king kidding you did a huge article on something THAT SHOULD OF NEVER BEEN MADE PUBLIC....,' he wrote.

"Only reason you did it was to turn people against me and for once I have spoken up and u can't handle it... Lashing out on Twitter likemy normally do... I am done.

"Both need to move on... and if you are leaving Geordieshore that is your own choice don't put it on me....."

Back in April, Charlotte shared a series of pictures from her hospital bed after being signed off work with a mystery illness.

At the time, a statement released by her representative read, "Due to ill health Charlotte Crosby has been signed off from work by her Doctor.

"Therefore all events have been postponed. We will reschedule as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience caused".
