Hotelier and all-round stickler for a well-folded towel Francis Brennan gave popular TG4 soap Ros na Rún the once over last night when he appeared as himself to inspect the show's Restaurant Gaudi.

Francis is a lifelong admirer of the Irish language and his cameo on Ros na Rún follows his appearance on TG4’s Scéalta na nOstán, a nostalgic series that revealed the history and inside stories of Ireland’s landmark hotels.
