Axl Rose performed his first show with AC/DC last night in Lisbon, kicking off a run of 12 shows across Europe as part of AC/DC's 'Rock Or Bust World Tour'.

It looks like AC/DC have made a U-turn on their Highway to Hell. The band have had a bad run of it lately. First, guitarist Malcolm Young stepped down from the band due to dementia.

Then drummer Phil Rudd left amidst an array of criminal charges. Most recently, singer Brian Johnson had to quit touring or face total hearing loss. But the show must go on, and last month Guns N' Roses lead singer Axl Rose was announced as Johnson's temporary replacement, despite a backlash from fans.

But the AC/DC fan base was pleasantly surprised following Rose's debut in Lisbon last night.

Axl seemed quite at home on stage with the Aussie rockers, despite remaining seated throughout the set due to a fractured foot.

He got through all the classics including Shoot To Thrill.

Rock Or Bust.

And of course Back In Black.

As well as from attending fans, Axl has been receiving huge praise online:

Hopefully this is a sign of better things to come for the band and the AC/DC Rock and Roll Train will keep rolling on!
