French-Canadian group Le Vent du Nord have blazed a trail across the globe with their gritty, modern twist on North American folk music, whether performing traditional Québec tunes and original material or sharing a stage with the likes of The Chieftains.
They've won a host of awards including including two Canadian Grammys and being named Artist of the Year at the North American Folk Alliance Annual Gala, making them one best-loved Québec folk groups in the world.
This weekend Le Vent du Nord kick off an eight day tour around Ireland and will play venues in Baltimore, Letterkenny, Castlebar, Sligo, Ennis, Carrick-on-Shannon, Tinahely in Co. Letirim and Dublin.
