Justin Bieber has landed himself in hot water again after allegedly smashing up a phone, and is being sued for $100,000 for the incident.

It may be too late to say Sorry for the pop superstar, who has been accused of destroying Robert Earl Morgan's mobile phone after he apparently tried to film Bieber downing the contents of a beer bong.

According to TMZ, Bieber became "enraged" and grabbed the phone and "smashed it to pieces" after the alleged incident at Cle nightclub in Texas last month.

It is thought he's being sued for such a large sum of money because the smart phone contained irreplaceable photos, including picture from Morgan's grandmother's 100th birthday party, and a number of business contacts.

Bieber has not yet commented on the allegations.

The incident is believed to have happened on the same night that Bieber was pictured being held by the throat by his support act Post Malone after Bieber allegedly stubbed out a cigarette on him.

The rapper later said they were just messing around, tweeting: “If we was fighting someone would have done something instead of just sitting around while the Biebs gets choke slammed.

"I love Justin y'all tripping lol."
