The final trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse is here – and it looks like Hugh Jackman and his Wolverine claws will be back. Phew!
The full-length trailer sees Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) taking a key position as leader of the mutants, as Professor Xavier (James McAvoy) appears to be injured and kidnapped by a mutant god.
It also features numerous reveals, including both a tease of Wolverine’s appearance and confirmation that Magneto is Quicksilver’s father.
X-Men: Apocalypse also stars Olivia Munn as Betsy Braddock/Psylocke, Oscar Isaac as En Sabah Nur/Apocalypse, Rose Byrne as Moira, Nicholas Hoult as Hank McCoy/Beast, Michael Fassbender as Erik Lensherr/Magneto, and Evan Peters as Peter/Quicksilver.
Jackman also teased on social media that fans wouldn't have to wait for a rumoured Wolverine sequel to see the comic book hero again, as he'd be making an appearance in Bryan Singer's X-Men: Apocalypse.
X-Men: Apocalypse hits Irish cinemas on May 18.
