Beverley Craven's fans feel close to her, very close! Some of them have gone as far as telling her that they conceived their children to her music.
The 52-year-old singer, who had a huge hit in the early nineties with the song Promise Me, revealed she is "definitely responsible for a few babies being born" and said fans have no problem telling her about their intimate moments.
"I am definitely responsible for a few babies being born. People come up to me at the end of the show and say 'We've conceived our children to Promise Me, she told RTÉ TEN.
"And I really, really don't want to know. It just leaves me with this image in my head and I'm left standing there going 'Eh, that's nice!' Apparently a lot of smooching has gone on to my songs," she joked.
"I'm really flattered though. It means that I am apart of someone's life. I've got records that transport me as well like Chicago - If You Leave Me Now. That reminds me of my first dance with a boy at a disco. It is a nice feeling."

Craven has sold more than two million albums and won a Brit award, but she says neither of those things are her career highlights to date.
Speaking about her fondest memories of being on the road, Craven said it involved a lot of cameras, and an event held by Audrey Hepburn and Roger Moore.
"I was doing a show. I think it was in Belgium and the piano was in the middle of a huge stage. All of the audience were in black tie and diamond necklaces", she said
"I can remember tottering out in my heels and crossing the stage and all of these cameras swinging around and coming in and going out. It was one of those surreal moments were I thought to myself 'this isn't a dream, I'm actually here'. When you are in the whirlwind of doing a lot of promotion you just get sucked along with it all," she added.
"There was another time when I was in Europe and Audrey Hepburn and Roger Moore were hosting this charity event. I had to pinch myself over that one too. I'm lucky I have had a good few moments."
Beverley will be touring Ireland with new and old material on April 13 at The Set, Kilkenny; April 14 at Triskel Christchurch, Cork; April 15 at The INEC, Killarney and April 16 at the Pavilion Theatre in Dublin.
