Ewan McGregor has confirmed that Trainspotting 2 is definitely happening and feels that the script is 'absolutely blinding'.
He's a guest on tonight's Graham Norton Show and explains that the cast has had a read-through of the script ahead of the shoot, which is due to begin soon.
"We are filming it in the summer," he said. "It's going to be good, and it's been a long time coming.
"It has more or less the same team, certainly the same actors, and an absolutely blinding script loosely based on the second back.
"It is great to be back together," he added. "We had a secret read-through, and it was really moving to hear those characters again.
"It wasn't easy. We were all quite trepidatious about it, because we are stepping back into quite large shoes. It was such an important film for all of us that I suppose it is quite intimidating in a way."
McGregor will be joined by fellow original cast members Jonny Lee Miller, Ewen Bremner and Robert Carlyle for the film, which is partly based on Trainspotting writer Irvine Welsh's literary sequel, Porno.
Danny Boyle will also be back on directing duties, news that well surely delight fans of the original film which is twenty years old this year. Now don't you feel old!
The Graham Norton Show tonight on BBC One at 10.35pm.
