Former Friends star Courteney Cox has promised to spend more time in Ireland to save her relationship with Derry-born musician Johnny McDaid, it has been reported.
The celebrity couple called off their engagement in December last year when they were reportedly at loggerheads over where to live.
A source has now said that they are open to trying to solve the issue, telling OK magazine that although "a permanent move [to Ireland] is off the table" for the LA-based actress, she is "willing to spend more time in Ireland to make the relationship work. At this point she'll bend over backward to make Johnny happy."
The source added: "Being away from Johnny made Courteney realize how much she missed him."
Cox and the Snow Patrol bassist sparked reunion rumours last month when they were photographed together for the first time since their split shopping together in Malibu on Easter Sunday (March 27) with Cox's 11-year-old daughter Coco.
They began dating in 2013 when they were introduced by mutual friend Ed Sheeran, and the Irish rocker proposed after a whirlwind romance of just six months.
It previously was reported that McDaid was dating former MTV reporter Meghann Scully, however his representative denied the claims, saying he hadn't dated anyone since breaking up with Cox.
