Operation Transformation has finally come to a close after an emotional eight weeks, and the finale touched hearts across the country.
The four leaders, Clare Scanlan, Lucy Dillon, John Conmy, and Noeleen Lynam, all went through a dramatic emotional and physical transformation through the course of the series, collectively losing 100lbs.
The finale of this season, which host Kathryn Thomas said was "the most inspiring and emotional" since the show began in 2008, aired Thursday (February 25) and made a deep impression on viewers.
Viewers took to Twitter saying they were an "emotional wreck" and "balling", while thanking the leaders for being such an inspiration.
Although the TV series has concluded, the Operation Transformation drive will continue year-round on radio and online.
