Kendrick Lamar will induct NWA into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April.
Lamar will induct his fellow Compton natives into the Hall of Fame, having previously worked with NWA's Dr. Dre.
Kid Rock will also be on hand to induct rock band Cheap Trick into the fold, with Deep Purple, the Steve Miller Band and Chicago also set to be honoured at the ceremony.

At this year's Grammys, where Lamar took home an impressive five awards, Ice Cube and his son O'Shea Jackson Jr, who played Cube in 2015's NWA biopic Straight Outta Compton, presented Lamar with the award for Best Rap Album.
Citing NWA as a major influence on his career, Lamar previously spoke about how the late Eazy E gave him the courage to say what he feels on his records.

"People were scared to talk about these kinds of tough situations, but because [Eazy] and the group (NWA) took it upon themselves to talk about [these things], every artist is able to and they owe it to him," Lamar told Paper magazine.
"He's not only the birth of gangsta rap, but he's the birth of a whole legacy of being able to say what you want to say on a record and not being in fear of what others may think and not offending your own art and own reflection," he continued.
The Hall of Fame induction ceremony takes place in Brooklyn, New York on April 8.
