Taylor Swift has joined a long list of high profile women in showing support for Kesha following her legal battle against her producer Dr. Luke, donating $250,000 to the singer to help with her financial needs at this time.
On Friday a judge ruled against releasing Kesha - real name Rose Sebert - from her recording contract with Dr. Luke, after she sought an injunction that would allow her to release music outside of his authority. Kesha is also bringing a case against Dr Luke for allegedly sexually assaulting her.

Kesha's mother tweeted her thanks to Swift: "Taylor Swift has just generously donated $250,000 to Kesha, as a show of support during this difficult time. Amazing!"
