Michael Fassbender's performances in Macbeth and Steve Jobs have landed him a nomination for Best Actor at this year's Jameson Empire Awards.
Fassbender, whose role as the late Apple boss also sees him in contention for an Oscar later this month, was one of five stars shortlisted for the award.
Leonardo DiCaprio (The Revenant), Matt Damon (The Martian), Michael B. Jordan (Creed) and Tom Hardy (Legend/Mad Max: Fury Road) have also been nominated for a gong by Empire magazine.

While Brooklyn star Saoirse Ronan has been nominated for a plethora of awards for her performance in the big screen adaptation of Colm Tóibín's novel, including an Oscar nod, she was not shortlisted in Empire's Best Actress category.
