Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer has told TEN exclusively that she can't wait for season six of the show, and will be curling up on the couch to watch it like everyone else.

The British actress, who plays the scheming Margaery Tyrell in the hit HBO fantasy show, said that she doesn't know any of the upcoming twists and turns as she refuses to read other character's storylines, which makes the experience of watching the show on TV more exciting.

Speaking at the junket for her new film The Forest, she told TEN: "I'm so excited to see season six because I haven't got a clue what's going to happen either. I didn't read anyone else's storylines so I'm like you: I don't know what happens to everyone else."

However, the former star of The Tudors added that she had some idea of who would be back for season six as "there were a few people I saw in the makeup trailer on different days".

"I have a rough idea what was going on," she continued. "But I don't know the real plot points so I'm looking forward to watching it on my sofa as much as everyone else is."

The highly-anticipated sixth series of Game of Thrones debuts on HBO on April 24. Dormer's new supernatural horror film The Forest opens in cinemas on February 26.
