Rapper Kanye West reckons that veteran comedian Bill Cosby is innocent of sexual assault allegations.
West, who recently name-checked Cosby in his track Facts, tweeted his 18.5 million followers on Tuesday night to say: "BILL COSBY INNOCENT !!!!!!!!!!"
Cosby, star of top-rated eighties sitcom The Cosby Show, was recently charged with sexual assault following a series of sex abuse allegations. He is accused of drugging and sexually assaulting a woman in 2004.

The NME reports that to date, Cosby has been accused by 54 women of sexual misconduct. Most fall outside the statutes of limitations for legal proceedings in America.
