Aslan and The Blades will play the Groove Festival at Killruddery House in Wicklow this July along with UK act Ocean Colour Scene. 

Neville Staple, formerly of The Specials, is also on the bill with more acts to be added for the festival which takes place on July 2 and 3.

Tickets priced €49.50 for a day or €74.50 for a weekend pass will go on sale on Thursday 11th February at 9am from www.groovefestival.ie or www.tickets.ie.

The Blades, who released the Smalltime EP, their first new material in 30 years last October, will play their only show of the summer at the Saturday of Groove. After recent turmoil involving lead singer Christy Dignam’s health, Aslan join the bill at Groove as special guests to The Blades.

Sunday July 3 sees the return of Irish regulars Ocean Colour Scene to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of their album Moseley Shoals, which has sold almost two million copies since its release. Neville Staple will support OCS.
