Adele has informed US presidential wannabe Donald Trump that he has no permission to use her music as a rallying tool.
The White House hopeful regularly has her hit Rolling In The Deep played before he makes speeches, using the song's emotional "we could have had it all" refrain to great effect.
Fans of the UK singer have reacted angrily, as he has been using Adele's music without asking the star for permission to use her song as a propaganda tool.
"Adele has not given permission for her music to be used for any political campaigning," a spokesman for the singer told The London Independent.
The 69-year-old billionaire is apparently a big fan of the singer-songwriter, and went to see her at her special Radio City Hall concert in New York City back in November.
He annoyed fans there, too, by skipping the queue and walking straight into the venue.
Meanwhile, Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler has ordered Donald Trump to stop using their song Dream On.
Trump ignored the request, so Tyler's attorneys were forced to send the Republican Party man a second cease-and-desist letter.
It stated that Trump does "not have our client's permission to use Dream On" or any of Tyler's other songs, and that it "gives the false impression that he is connected with or endorses Mr Trump's presidential bid".
