Supermodel Cindy Crawford recently declared that she plans to retire from modelling after she celebrates her fiftieth birthday on February 20.
“I’m sure I’ll have my picture taken for 10 more years, but not as a model anymore,” Crawford told the February editioUnited Airlines’ Rhapsody magazine. “And that’s OK. I’ve done it. I’ve worked with all these incredible photographers. What else do I need to do? I can’t keep reinventing myself. I shouldn’t have to keep proving myself. I don’t want to.”
The model spent Thanksgivingx in Hawaii with her husband Rande Gerber and her children, Presley and Kaia. 14-year old Kaia signed with IMG Models last summer and is expected to follow her mother's footsteps into modelling as a career.
