YouTube sensation Joe Sugg (he has over 500 million views, which deems him a sensation in our book) reckons Dublin is "buzzing" and that it's "a really nice place to be". Tip of the hat to our capital city.

In Sugg's latest vlog on his ThatcherJoeVlogs YouTube channel he features his recent stay in our capital and it appears he is truly smitten with the place.

Before he left his London apartment, Sugg, who is the younger brother of fellow vlogger Zoella, described his excitement at visiting Ireland as it would be his first time in this neck of the woods.

"I've never been to Ireland, Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland, there's two see, I've done my [research]. When I was in year 9, year 9 history I learned all about Northern Ireland so I'm excited to go to Belfast. I'm also excited to potentially go to the Guinness Factory in Dublin because, I'm not gonna lie, I do like a good Guinness. It's my favourite... I love Guinness; it's my choice of drink if I go to a pub," he said.

"Some people have some odd/simple things on their bucket list and one of mine is to be able to pour a perfect pint of Guinness," Joe posted on his Instagram account @joe_sugg

During his 25-minute-long video, which takes us up to the point before he leaves Dublin and heads for Belfast, we see Joe meeting his screaming fans, get a tour of his hotel room, and of course, there's a detailed section dedicated to his favourite alcoholic beverage.

"It's like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, only with alcohol," he said with excitement as he entered the Guinness Storehouse.

Reflecting on his time in Dublin at the end of his video, Joe described it as a "beautiful city" and revealed plans to return before the year is out.

"I've had an amazing 48 hours in Dublin, I've had a really great time. Although I haven't seen too much of Dublin, other than the Guinness Factory and Eason, where I did my meet and greet, I've kind of fallen in love with this place a little bit," he said. "The people here are so friendly, and it just seems like a really, really nice place to be. At night time as well, it just seems like it's buzzing so it's 100% on my list of places to come back, hopefully in this year."
