Kate Winslet has said that while her Steve Jobs co-star Michael Fassbender gave an "extraordinary" performance, it's Leonardo DiCaprio's year to take home some Oscar glory in the Best Actor category.
DiCaprio, who has been nominated for his fifth Academy Award for acting at this year's ceremony - his fourth for Best Actor in a Lead Role – is the current favourite to take home the coveted trophy for his performance in The Revenant, and his Titanic and Revolutionary Road co-star Kate Winslet is backing him all the way.

"I think you can sort of feel it, and I think that everyone wants it for him," Winslet, whose role in Steve Jobs has landed her a nod for Best Supporting Actress, told the BBC. "It would be amazing."
"It's slightly difficult for me too, because Michael Fassbender has been nominated, and I was his right-hand woman for three months while we were making Steve Jobs and I saw how hard he worked. I think his performance is so extraordinary," she added. "But I think, yeah, you can sort of feel the temperature. It's probably going to be Leo's year."

DiCaprio has already won awards at the Golden Globes and Critics' Choice Awards this year, and is nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award.
The 88th Annual Academy Awards take place on February 28 in Hollywood.
