Bridget & Eamon, the new Jennifer Maguire and Bernard O'Shea comedy spin-off from the Republic of Telly, is to premiere on RTÉ2 next month.
The series will begin on Monday February 1 at 10pm.
The team behind the show say we'll learn plenty more about this quintessential 80s Irish couple when it hits our screens in a few weeks time.
"Bridget & Eamon and their indeterminate number of children have broken out of the Republic of Telly studios and landed their own series."
"Jennifer Maguire and Bernard O'Shea will be mining 80s Ireland for comedy gold as Bridget strives for a lifestyle drawn from the pages of Woman's Way and Eamon just wants to watch TV. But his wife and the 80s just won't let him be," they added.

Ah bliss...
Speaking to TEN at RTÉ2's new season launch last September, Maguire and O'Shea promised "plenty of laughs" from their new show.
They admitted it was "tough" to develop the sketch into a full-blown series, but praised RTÉ2 for taking the risk. Watch out for interviews with Bridget and Eamon on TEN in the coming weeks.
