Former Rollerskate Skinny frontman man Ken Griffin has returned with a new song from August Wells, the new band he has formed with fellow musician John Rauchenberger.
A Little Too Real is the New York-based duo's first release of 2016 and a taster of their new album, which is due out this Spring on Cork label, FIFA Records.
August Wells finished 2015 by playing support to avowed Rollerskate Skinny fan Glen Hansard at a sold-out show at New York’s Beacon Theatre. The band return to Ireland and Europe at the end of January for a number of dates.
Last year, Griffin and Rauchenberger made appearances on RTÉ's Other Voices and at Electric Picnic.
August Wells play the following Irish dates: January 30 - Levis' Bar, Ballydehob, February 10 - Brewery Corner, Kilkenny, February 11 - Boyle's, Slane, February 12 - Coughlan’s, Cork, February 13 - Pine Lodge, Cork, and February 14 - Workman's Club, Dublin.
