Angie Bowie has decided to continue her stint on the current series of Celebrity Big Brother, despite being told that her ex-husband David Bowie has passed away.
The contestant, who married the legendary musician in 1970 before divorcing in 1980, was informed of his death this morning off-camera.

A spokesperson for Channel 5 said of her decision to remain on the reality show, "The decision to remain in the house is entirely her choice, and she has been given the option to leave at any time if she changes her mind. Appropriate support will be available to Angie at any time if needed."
The former model entered the Big Brother house last Tuesday and in one episode spoke about her split from Bowie, revealing that they have not spoken in 40 years.
The pair have one child together, Duncan, who Angie has also lost touch with.
