Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway has posted a photograph of herself to Instagram wearing a red bikini and showing off her growing baby bump.
The "out of character" post came as a result of the Oscar-winning actress being photographed by paparazzi while out and about on the beach, with the star deciding to share her own image to make sure there is a picture out there that she is happy with herself.
Posting on Instagram, Hathaway captioned the photo, "Happy 2016 to my beautiful Instafriends! So, posting a bikini pic is a little out of character for me, but just now while I was at the beach I noticed I was being photographed. I figure if this kind of photo is going to be out in the world it should at least be an image that makes me happy (and be one that was taken with my consent. And with a filter :) Wishing you love, light and blessings for the year ahead! Annie"

News of Hathaway's pregnancy was confirmed in November and a source told E! News recently that the actress is "feeling really healthy".
This is the first child for Hathaway and her husband of four years Adam Shulman. The couple began dating in 2008 before tying the knot in 2012.
