A former Mr Ireland, Jeremy McConnell, is set to join stars such as Strictly Come Dancing's Kristina Rihanoff and Liza Minelli's ex David Gest in the Celebrity Big Brother house for the new series on Tuesday night.
McConnell is no stranger to reality TV and previously took part on MTV's Beauty School Drop Outs.

The heavily tatooed model also claims to have “slept with all the models in Ireland” and says he hates power crazy people” and “bitchiness”. He's in the right place so!
He's also good friends with Marc O'Neill who appeared on last summer's series of Big Brother also on Channel 5 in the UK.
He recently sent Marc best wishes ahead of his move to the United States.

According to reports at the weekend, he will be joined in the house by Strictly Come Dancing professional Kristina Rihanoff, who partnered Daniel O'Donnell on the recent series and Liza Minelli's ex David Guest who previously appeared on I'm a Celebrity...

Among the remaining 16 housemates is Gemma Collins from The Only Way Is Essex star, ex-EastEnders actress and I'm a Celebrity alumuns Daniella Westbrook and singer and Jonathan Cheban, a friend of Kim Kardashian and regular on her reality show.

The other contestants include, Nancy Dell'Olio, who rose to fame as the girlfriend of ex-England football boss Sven-Goran Eriksson, former X Factor finalist Christopher Maloney and David Bowie's ex wife, Angie Bowie, who is a model and actress and mother of well known film director Duncan Jones (who unsurprisingly changed his name from Zowie Bowie).

Making up the rest of the contingent are ex-Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Davis, a candidate for London mayor Winston McKenzie, Megan McKenna, who starred in US reality show Ex On The Beach, actor John Partridge, famous for playing Christian Clarke in EastEnders, Geordie Shore star Scotty T, singer Darren Day and actress and US reality TV star Tiffany Pollard.
This year the Big Brother house is being revamped into a vaudeville-style theatre and the producer's as ever are promising "unwelcome surprises" for the stars.

Former Apprentice candidate James Hill won Celebrity Big Brother last year, beating American Austin Armacost, best known for being the ex-boyfriend of designer Marc Jacobs.
