Bradley Cooper has compared his Joy co-stars Jennifer Lawrence and Robert De Niro saying they work in a very similar way, adding that he would do anything to work with them.
Joy marks Cooper's fourth film with the Academy Award winning actress (we like to forget about Serena but unfortunately it did happen) and the third project with both Lawrence and director David O. Russell (Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle).
"She's kind of the best at what she does," Cooper said of working with Lawrence. "She has this ability to dive into a situation and imagine every circumstance and make it real and you believe what she's saying and the camera loves her, you can't take your eyes off her. She just has this very grounding, very rooted way of walking through a movie."

The actor then likened Lawrence to their co-star Robert De Niro, who also starred in Silver Linings Playbook with them and made a brief cameo in American Hustle.
"The same thing I encountered with Robert De Niro," Contact Music quotes Cooper as saying. "I found them to be very similar in terms of the way they approach the work and I think that's partly why David works with them again and again. For me, to be able to work with them, either one of them, I would do anything."
On working with O. Russell for the third time Cooper added, "He has a singular voice which you can see from one frame in the film. There's certain directors where you watch one minute of the movie and you can probably name who directed that, and David is one of those people."
Joy hits cinemas on January 1.
