Christmas has come early for Beatles fans around the globe as they can now officially stream the band's music from nine sites with a total of 13 albums and four collections available.

The band's full catalogue will be available on streaming services including Amazon Prime, Apple Music, Deezer, Spotify, Google Play, Groove, Tidal and Slacker, with a total of 13 remastered studio albums available including Please Please Me, With The Beatles, A Hard Day's Night, Beatles For Sale, Help!, Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Magical Mystery Tour, The Beatles, Yellow Submarine, Abbey Road and Let It Be.

"Happy Crimble, with love from us to you," The Beatles said on their website, referring to a term popularised by John Lennon to describe Christmas.

The band were previously involved in legal disputes with streaming sites, particularly with Apple Inc, and cautiously held off from making their music available on the sites.

Pandora Media Inc already has the band's songs on its online radio service, but with various restrictions.

The band had concerns that their valuable song catalogue could be devalued by selling individual songs or by an increased potential for digital piracy.

"The Beatles are the most iconic band in music history and their catalogue is the #1 request from our subscribers around the world," said Ethan Rudin, chief financial officer of music streaming service Rhapsody International.

John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr accumulated 17 number one singles in the UK charts as the Beatles.

In further good news for fans of the Fabs, RTÉ will air a new documentary about the band's visit to Dublin in November 1963 to play gigs at the Adelphi cinema. FAB: The Night The Beatles Came to Dublin can be seen on Sunday, December 27 at 8.00pm on RTÉ One.
