Classic Irish trad rock supergroup Moving Hearts will play a one off gig in Dublin's Olympia Theatre on January 29 with a line-up featuring Donal LunnyDavy Spillane, Keith Donald, Noel Eccles and Mick Hanly.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, December 18 at 9.00am and the band will perform live on this week's Late Late Show.

The politically-charged band, whose albums included The Dark End of The Street and The Storm, played their first gigs in Dublin's Baggot Inn in 1981 with Christy Moore on vocals.

They reformed in 2007 after an absence of 20 years for sold out concerts in Dublin's’ Vicar Street and they last played Ireland last year at the inaugural Killarney Folk Festival.

The band's line-up for the Olympia gig will also feature Eoghan O’Neill on bass, Jimmy Smith on guitars, Liam Bradley on drums, Graham Henderson keyboards, and special guest Mairtin O’Connor on accordion.
