The legendary Neil Young is set to play in Dublin and Belfast next summer as part of his Rebel Content tour.
He and his backing band Promise Of The Real will take to the stage at The SSE Arena in Belfast on June 7 and Dublin's 3Arena on June 8 2016. The SSE Arena date will mark his first ever gig in Belfast.
In 2015, Promise Of The Real became Young's backing band for his album The Monsanto Years, and the subsequent tour is said to have energised the singer/songwriter.
Writing on his Facebook page, Young said: "Thanks to Promise of the Real for making this tour such a wonderful experience in my life. I love all the bands I have played with, but this band (and the multi generational thing) is epic!
"The #RebelContentTour was an experience I will never forget. Once in a lifetime"
Tickets for Young's Dublin and Belfast 2016 gigs go on sale on Friday December 19 at 9.00am from usual outlets nationwide.
