The Clare Danes-starring drama Homeland will be returning for a sixth season, while The Affair is being renewed for a third series.
The current seasons of Homeland and The Affair conclude on December 20 in the US and the new series are expected to debut in 2016.
Dominic West and Ruth Wilson's The Affair has received much critical acclaim over its two-season airtime, picking up Golden Globes for best actress and best drama in 2015.
Homeland has also picked up a slew of awards since its 2011 debut - and today (December 9) received Screen Actors Guild nominations for outstanding performance by a female actor in a drama series for Danes and outstanding performance by an ensemble.
