Katy Perry has been named the highest-paid musician of 2015 after she earned a staggering $135million/€123.5million.
The singer topped the annual Forbes list, jumping from 23rd place last year to this year's top spot. Her Prismatic World Tour was the main earner for the Firework hitmaker.

They may be down a member and going on an extended hiatus in the New Year, but One Direction made their year count in terms of their bank balance. The band came in second on the list, earning $130m/€118.9m.

Rounding out the top five, country music star Garth Brooks took $90m/€82m, Taylor Swift made $80m/€73m and The Eagles country rock total came to $73.5m/€67.2m.
