The prestigious Sundance Film Festival in the US has added a further four Irish films to its programme with Sing Street, Love & Friendship, Viva and The Lobster joining the line-up, bringing the total to six.
They join the previously announced Mammal and The Land of the Enlightened at the festival, which runs from January 21-31 in Utah.
Sing Street, Love & Friendship, Mammal and The Land of the Enlightened will all have their world premieres at Sundance.
The new film from Once director John Carney, Sing Street is set in 1980s Dublin and tells the story of a teenager who forms a band. It stars newcomer Ferdia Walsh-Peelo, Aidan Gillen, Maria Doyle Kennedy and Jack Reynor.

Love & Friendship is director Whit Stillman's adaptation of Jane Austen's novella Lady Susan. It stars Kate Beckinsale, Chloe Sevigny and Stephen Fry and was filmed in Dublin.

Mammal is the new Dublin drama from director Rebecca Daly and stars Brothers & Sisters' Rachel Griffiths, Love/Hate's Barry Keoghan and Johnny Ward and Game of Thrones' Michael McElhatton. It follows a grieving divorcée who develops an unlikely relationship with a homeless youth.

Directed by Pieter-Jan De Pue, The Land of the Enlightened looks at the wartime economy in Afghanistan as told through the eyes of the country's children. The film is a Belgian/Irish/Dutch/German co-production.

The Spanish-language Viva is a family drama set in Cuba. It is directed by I Went Down's Paddy Breathnach and was written by Adam & Paul's Mark O'Halloran.

Viva joins the Colin Farrell and Rachel Weisz-starring The Lobster in the Spotlight section of Sundance. Directed by Greek filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos, The Lobster was filmed in Parknasilla in Co Kerry and Dublin and is set in the near future, where single people's lives depend on finding a partner. The Lobster is among the nominees at this weekend's European Film Awards in Berlin, with Farrell shortlisted for Best Actor and Lanthimos for Best Director.
