Gavin James, Anne Brun and Richard Hawley braved Storm Desmond and took to the stage in St James' Church in Dingle for the new series of RTÉ music show Other Voices over the weekend.

The Academic, Lapsley, Gaz Coombes and Low also played the intimate venue for the new season, which will be screened on RTÉ2 in the new year.

This year, Other Voices has expanded its music trail sees and over 40 acts played in venues all over the Kerry town. David Kitt drew a large crows on Saturday afternoon at the Dingle Brewing company and his set included a cover When Doves Cry by Prince.

Other Voices also launched a new conference on Friday. Ireland’s Edge: Creativity, The Diaspora and Realising Potential brought together "leaders from the political, business and creative spheres" to discuss a future strategy for Ireland on creativity and diaspora engagement in the Skellig Hotel in Dingle.
