There will be two days of Sound and Vision when a new festival celebrating the life and work of David Bowie takes place in Dublin in January.
The Dublin Bowie Festival will include performances, screenings, interviews, karaoke, memorabilia and more at the Grand Social on Saturday January 9 and Sunday January 10.
The festival is being staged to coincide with the release of Bowie's new album Blackstar on Friday January 8, the singer's 69th birthday.
The festival's guest of honour will be Bowie's longtime musical director and guitarist, Dubliner Gerry Leonard, who will perform his debut Irish show as Spooky Ghost and also join tribute band Rebel Rebel for their set. Tickets for both shows are priced €12 and are on sale from tickets.ie.
On the Sunday, Leonard will also take part in a Question and Answer session where fans can gain anl insight into Bowie's working methods.

Lazarus, the new play written by Bowie and Irishman Enda Walsh, is currently on a sell-out run at the off-Broadway New York Theatre Workshop. The play is based on the classic sci-fi book The Man Who Fell to Earth and stars Dexter actor Michael C Hall.
Bowie famously played the lead character, Thomas Newton, in Nicolas Roeg's 1976 film version of Walter Tevis' book, which told the story of an alien's experiences when he crash-lands on Earth. The play features new music composed by Bowie and new arrangements of previously recorded work.
