Local girl Imelda May and LGBT icon Panti Bliss joined U2 on stage for a performance of Desire on the last show of the band's four-night stand in Dublin's 3Arena on Saturday night.

U2 also dedicated their song 40 to their late tour manager Dennis Sheehan, who passed away last May in LA.
Ending an emotional run of shows at the 3Arena, Bono introduced 40, the last track on their 1983 album War, to Sheehan who had worked with U2 for more than 30 years.
Sheehan also worked with other rock acts including Led Zeppelin, Iggy Pop, Patti Smith and Lou Reed,

U2 will take their Innocence and Experience tour to Paris on December 6 and 7 to play concerts they were forced to cancel after the terrorist attacks on the French capital on November 13.
