It's the news all Irish Adele fans have been waiting for. The singing superstar is going back on tour and will be playing dates in Belfast and Dublin next February and March.
The tour is Adele's first tour in four years. She last played Ireland in 2011 when she took to the stage at Dublin's Olympia Theatre with reports at the time claiming that tickets for the gig were changing hands for anything up to €1000 after her popularity exploded following the release of her second album 21.
Adele's new album, 25, was released last week and has shot to the top of the charts on both sides of the Atlantic and has already become the fastest-selling album of 2015.
In the UK alone she sold a staggering 737,000 copies of 25 since its release just under a week ago and has overtaken Oasis's 18-year sales record for Be Here Now in the process.
The decision to go on tour isn't an easy one as Adele has openly spoken about her struggle with stage fright.
Speaking in the United States this week, where she's promoting her new album, she said:
"(I get) so nervous with live performances that I'm too frightened to try anything new. It's actually getting worse. Or it's just not getting better, so I feel like it's getting worse, because it should've gotten better by now."
Irish fans will be the first to see Adele on tour as she kicks off her schedule with two nights in Belfast on February 29 and March 1 and then she plays two further night's at Dublin's 3Arena on March 4 and 5.
Advance tickets sales will begin next Tuesday, December 1 on adele.com with general ticket going on sale on Friday, December 4.
