Kim Kardashian is due to give birth to her second child in December - and she's decided that it will also be her last.

The reality star has admitted she will not put her body through another pregnancy as she suffered a difficult gestation period first time around, and may even need a hysterectomy after the birth of her baby boy in December.

The 35-year-old star is currently expecting a boy with her rapper husband Kanye West, and he will be a baby brother to their daughter North (2).

"Kim's told Kanye that even if she doesn't need to have her womb removed straight after the birth, she doesn't want to put herself through another tough birth pregnancy and birth," an insider told Closer magazine.

"She's told Kanye that if he wants more, they'll have to look into surrogacy or adopt."

Kardashian recently spoke out and defended her comments about her "awful" first pregnancy, insisting she's sharing her feelings to help other women in similar situations.

"I'm really not complaining, I'm just being honest and being honest: I hate it. You know, pregnancy is not for me . . .

"You know, I've heard stories forever about how amazing pregnancy is from my mom and [sister] Kourtney and that's just not the case for me and I'm not going to sit here and lie and act like it's the most blissful experience. It's awful."
