Moscow-based pop star Emin has become the first ever solo Russian/Azeri artist to break into the top 15 on the Billboard Dance Chart and make a crossover into the all-important western pop market.
His single Boomerang, which features CHIC man Nile Rodgers, shot up eight places this week to land at No 14 on the chart.
“It is really a dream come true to see this song connecting with so many people all over the world. We knew we had a great pop/dance track, but when Nile Rodgers joined me on the record - the sky’s the limit,” said Emin.
