Chart-topping pop-rock outfit Busted have reunited and will play shows in Dublin and Belfast next May.
Despite vowing that he would never rejoin the trio, frontman Charlie Simpson has now changed his mind and will be back on the road with bandmates James Bourne and Matt Willis for the first time since 2005.
They are already working on new material ahead of their shows at the SSE Arena in Belfast on May 30 and Dublin's 3Arena on May 31. Tickets go on sale this Friday from 9:00am.
"Busted only had two albums so we're probably going to play every song that you know," said Simpson.
When asked about all the times he had dashed reunion hopes in the past, Simpson replied: "I genuinely meant that. There wasn't a time I said that that I didn't mean it wholeheartedly. I have changed my mind."
After Busted broke up, Simpson continued playing music with his other band, Fightstar, and also pursued a solo career.

The way they were - Busted in 2005
In 2013, Willis and Bourne teamed up with McFly to tour and release music as McBusted, but Simpson said that collaboration "wasn't right" for him.
"I was pleased for them more than jealous," he said.
Busted's two albums - their eponymous 2002 debut and 2003 follow-up A Present for Everyone - went top 10 in Ireland and peaked at number two on the UK album charts. They had four number one singles in the UK: You Said No, Crashed the Wedding, Who's David? and Thunderbirds/3AM. Their biggest hit in Ireland was Year 3000, which peaked at number two.
