The countdown continues: five new character posters for Star Wars: The Force Awakens have been unveiled ahead of the film's December release. They look great, but someone is missing - again...
Following the release of the official movie poster and final trailer last month, the new character posters are a mix of legends and fresh faces.

But there's no sign of Mark Hamill as Luke. He didn't feature on last month's poster, either, and fan speculation has intensified that there will be some big reveal about his character in the new movie.
Along with Ford, Fisher and Hamill, the JJ Abrams-directed film stars returning greats Peter Mayhew, Anthony Daniels and Kenny Baker, with Lupita Nyong'o, Oscar Isaac and Irish actor Domhnall Gleeson among the other newcomers to the franchise.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in Ireland on Thursday December 17. Some of the scenes in the movie, and the next episode, were filmed on Skellig Michael off the Kerry coast.
