Donal Skehan tied the knot this summer and the celebrity cook has said married life is treating him well so far, adding that it hasn't changed his relationship with his wife Sofie at all.
Skehan married his girlfriend of 10 years, Sofie Larsson, in an intimate ceremony is Lisnavagh House, Co Carlow this summer and speaking to TEN he said: "Married life is great, nothing's changed. We've been together for 10 years so nothing major has changed apart from you really nail your flag to the wall. I don't know if that's the right saying, but you know what I mean - all of a sudden everyone knows who Sofie is, and it's a really special thing to go through."
The presenter and author admitted that it was a very stressful time juggling life and work ahead of his nuptials.
"I was shooting a show for the Food Network UK and I was going all around Europe doing lots of different things. So Sofie pretty much organised the whole thing, but when we finally got down to it, it was such a lovely day and we had a great time."

While things are certainly exciting in his personal life, Skehan revealed that his intense workload began to take its toll on him last year. However, writing his new book, Fresh, helped to completely change his lifestyle.
"It's full of healthy recipes - recipes for food that you eat for energy - and for me, I wrote this book because I kind of reached a point of burnout last year," he said. "I had no time to cook, no time to eat, no time to exercise. It just got to a point where I needed to stop and start again and this has been the reset button for me."
Now that he has taken a step back, he has a new lease of life. "I have this buzz of energy that I can't describe. It's just a really exciting time because I can see where I am this year, and where I was last year, and the change is incredible."
