Veteran star Joan Collins has said that she was asked to take part in ITV's I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! but turned the programme makers down.
Speaking at a signing session for her new book The St Tropez Lonely Hearts Club in London, Collins said she was offered a "massive" amount of money a few years ago to head to the Australian Outback for the show.
"I kindly turned them down," said the Dynasty star. "It's not my cup of tea."
The actress said the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing is her cup of tea - but only as a viewer. "I love it," she said. "Well now there's real glamour. Nothing could be more glamorous than Strictly."
The 82-year-old has dedicated her new book to her novelist sister Jackie, who passed away from breast cancer in September at the age of 77.
The dedication reads: "For Jackie. I will never forget you."

While declining to discuss her late sister, Collins said she would be going to Los Angeles at Christmas for a memorial celebration.
"I have to be happy now, I've got to go and sign books," she said. "And then we're coming back here and there'll be my children, grandchildren, Jackie's children and grandchildren, my brother ... we'll all be together."
The new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! begins on Sunday November 15.
