Bond, aliens and a national treasure are our selections for tonight.
The Graham Norton Show, 10:35pm, BBC One
With the long-awaited Bond adventure Spectre in cinemas this Monday, Norton has cleared the couch for all things 007. He's joined by the man himself, Daniel Craig, for some espionage-themed eejitry, with co-stars Naomie Harris and Christoph Waltz also getting in on the fun. And, in a world exclusive, Sam Smith will perform the theme song from the movie, Writing's on the Wall. Watch out for a review of Spectre on TEN on Saturday.
Paul, 9:00pm, Film4
Having sent up and celebrated horror movies in Shaun of the Dead and tough guys in Hot Fuzz, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost experienced some close encounters of the nerd kind in 2011's thoroughly charming Paul. They play two sci-fi obsessives who come face to face with a real-life extra-terrestrial (voiced by Seth Rogen) while visiting a UFO hotspot. Valuing the important people in your life, meeting some new ones, taking chances, fan boys becoming heroes, creationism vs Darwinism, Ewok love - Pegg and Frost cram a lot into Paul, but it's as sweet as it is funny. And while there are in-jokes aplenty, you don't need to have all the original Star Wars figures in their boxes to enjoy this road trip.

Nationwide, 7:00pm, RTÉ One
Winter is nearly upon us, but this evening the Nationwide team gives you an idea for a great trip in finer weather. They're on Achill Island in Co Mayo, meeting the locals, finding out about the island's history and giving visitors ideas for what they can do. Reporter Maria Mullarkey will also climb Croaghaun Mountain, the highest mountain on Achill, and which has the third highest sea cliffs in Europe.
