Chris O'Dowd's Moone Boy may have come to an end but its young stars David Rawle and Ian O'Reilly are hopeful that they will get to reprise their roles as Martin and Pauric in the future, saying they would sign up "at the drop of a hat."
Speaking to RTÉ TEN on the IFTAs red carpet, O'Reilly, who played Pauric on the hit comedy, said: "Fingers crossed it's not the end of Moone Boy. I think they're [Chris O'Dowd and Nick Murphy] just busy with the books now at the moment, but after that, fingers crossed."
Rawle, aka Martin Moone, added that they wouldn't need much persuading to rejoin the cast for more episodes saying he would do it "at the drop of a hat."

The lads revealed that one of the things they enjoyed most about working on the show was getting an insight into 1980s Ireland.
"It was really cool because it was like stepping back into the 80s which was really different because obviously we weren't even alive then," O'Reilly said. "So it was really cool having Chris and Nick telling us all the things."
Rawle added, "We realised the 80s weren't that interesting, there was a lot less stuff going on so whenever there was it was built up."
O'Reilly summed the entire decade up in one sentence: "It was weird clothes and bad technology and after that, there wasn't much more."
