Sam Smith has been officially acknowledged for creating two Guinness World Records.
The 23-year-old singer/songwriter has been honoured as a result of his Spectre theme Writing's On The Wall becoming the first James Bond theme song to reach number one on the UK single chart.
His other achievement is even more impressive, as it's for his debut album In The Lonely Hour, which has totalled 69 consecutive weeks in the UK Top 10 since it was released in May 2104.
The previous record of 63 weeks was held for two years by Emeli Sandé's debut record Our Version of Events. That in turn had beaten The Beatles' long-standing record of 62 weeks with their 1963 debut, Please Please Me.
"This is so amazing. It's such an honour to be recognised by Guinness World Records," said Smith.
"It's been an unbelievable eighteen months - the album exceeded even my wildest dreams thanks to the incredible support of my fans, and to record the first ever Bond theme to reach number one in the UK is a real privilege."
