Great news for fans of fantasy film. Acclaimed director Guillermo del Toro has revealed that his next movie will be similar to his Oscar nominated Pan's Labyrinth in terms of weirdness.
Del Toro's 2006 release Pan's Labyrinth was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay, losing out to Little Miss Sunshine, and the director has revealed that he is working on a "really strange" project next that will be more similar to it than his latest release Crimson Peak.
"I'm doing a small movie next, really strange, much more strange than normal," he told TEN. "But I love it, its a small movie of the size of Pan's Labyrinth and equally weird."

Crimson Peak is more gothic romance than horror and del Toro is hopeful that audiences will lose themselves in the world that he has created on screen, "I think the most beautiful thing in a gothic romance is the characters, and the visuals, and sort of the world that you can, if you love it, you can get lost in that world."
