Game of Thrones' star Emilia Clarke has been announced as the Sexiest Woman Alive by Esquire magazine.
Just last month, rival mens' mag GQ gave the twenty-something actress their annual Woman of the Year epithet. Obviously, playing Daenerys Targaryen on HBO's hugely popular fantasy drama has been a wise career move.
Since the show first aired in 2011, The London-born actress has received two Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, in 2013 and 2015.
Clarke made her Broadway debut in 2013, starring in the legendary role of Holly Golightly in a production of Breakfast at Tiffany's. In 2015, she starred alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger as Sarah Connor in the film Terminator Genisys.
